The Legend of the Twilight Eclipse

"I know you don't know me, but that shouldn't make me any less willing to want to help you"


Rai closed his eyes and smiled

Ariana kissed him. "Tired?"

Liviana nodded a bit. "I guess..."

"A little bit I guess"


Laguna looked at her then looked around

"Do you want to sleep?"

Liviana was still holding onto him.
"I'm far from home aren't i?"

"I don't know. I don't know where your home is"


"I don't know...part of me does, part of me doesn't..."

"Well what do you want to do?"

"Neither do i....but i bet hes there waiting for me.." Liviana sighed slowly.

"Then don't go back there"


"I don't know Ariana..."

Liviana looked down. "I'm not stupid....don't treat me like i am.."

"Everything ok....?"

"I'm Sorry. I didn't mean it to sound tha way"


"Of course"

"Its ok...." Liviana got up. "Thanks for your help...."
She fixed her dress and started walking.

"You sure? Is something hurting you Rai?"

Laguna watched her as she went


"Hurting me? What do you mean?"

"you seem so down....is someone hurting you Rai? Me?"

Liviana walked out of castle town.

"Why would you think such a thing Ariana? You could never hurt me. You're the best thing that's ever happened to me"


Laguna took out his Ocarina and started playing

"Then please tell me whats wrong, i love you Rai and if anything is happening to you, i'll stop it."

As soon as Liviana left she was attacked by the man again.
She screamed loud as she was beat by him.

Someone grabbed the man and threw him into a tree


"Nothing, I'm just tired I guess"

Liviana kept crying and the man growled and disappeared.

"I'm sorry i bore you..."

"Not that kind of tired, sleepy tired. You don't bore me Ariana, I just haven't slept in a few days"


Laguna went to Liviana
"Are you alright?"

Ariana sung him a lullaby.

Liviana shook and cried more.

Laguna took her back inside Castle Town


Rai laid his head on her lap and started to drift to sleep

Liviana kept crying and held onto him.

Ariana stroked his hair and kept singing until he was asleep.

Rai fell asleep and muttered in his sleep


Laguna took her into Telma's bar and got her a drink

Liviana sat down sniffling and tried to drink but her hand shook each time and she put the drink down.

Ariana leaned in to hear what he was muttering.

The only words that could be made out were something along the lines of 'Ariana' 'Love' 'Protect' 'Propose' and 'Marry'


Laguna gently took her hand so it wasn't shaking

Ariana smiled and rubbed his shoulders keeping him close.

Liviana looked at Laguna.
"You...*sniff*...wanna know how old I am?"

"Sure"


Rai seemed to smile a bit when she rubbed his shoulders and he turned over so he was facing her
